We? Like you have a frog in your pocket?

Les Miles nor Ed O were considered overly intelligent coaches man. We don’t need the best coach in football to win. The dude is right.

Not sure just exactly how Les won... but he did, nonetheless. Stupid good luck?

Les played for 2 championships not 1, lol

LSU is a top 3 job in the country. You absolutely leave your alma mater for LSU unless you are OSU/BAMA/UGA/Etc

If it’s Lane then I’m giving him a chance. You are welcome to be pissed off.

I wouldn't be mad at Todd monken.

Will stein.
Schumann
Kiffin

Either way they need to interview guys and hire someone with some balls. Someone who wakes up wanting to win. Even though cignetti is older, you can tell he only cares about winning and knows what he wants.

Make Kiffin say no...Lea isn't a bad second choice. That team is disciplined and plays hard.

You have to make him say no first

Imagine hiring some OC from Sam Houston Tech only to find out a year or so later that Saban would have came if you went after him

** I’m not saying this is a likely scenario to happen **

I don't get the lea love.

He was like 2-9, 3-8, 2-9, 7-5(1st yr with pavia)

He brought pavia, Tim beck, and the new Mexico head coach and that's when things changed.

I like Will Stein too, but he is 36 and very unproven to be a head coach in the SEC.
only been an OC for 23/24/25 at Oregon

More than any other school searching for a coach.
LSU is the No.1 option.

We do not have to hire a big name like Kelly. That worked out like shite. We can hire a younger and hungrier coach

I agree. We don't need a 60+ year old guy who will use us as the last step in his retirement.

LSU firing Kelly (34-14) to chase an elite coach seems risky.

Keeping Kelly is a much more severe known and proven risk. In what world do you seem him losing any less than 3 games next year? Hell, three loses is his fricking ceiling. He is at fricking an African spider monkey during the AIDS epidemic level of risk.

For comparison, Kelly has no chance in hell going .500 in the SEC this year, Ed went .500 with an entire SEC only schedule in 2020. Thats after losing a shite ton of talent to the NFL, two, arguably three generational (actually factual use of the term here) players, his Def Cord, his co-OC coordinator, a NC hangover exasperated by Covid. Throw in an affinity for at least one blonde Applebees happy hour whore, and a messy divorce and with all that, he still had an arguably better 2020 than Kelly did 2025.

The fact you can even make the argument using 2020 Ed Orgeron is all you need to know about how bad of a risk it is to have Brian Kelly coaching your colllege football team in 2025.

I would be disappointed if we didn't reach out, at least low key. Same with Lanning. The only downside is it blow up publicly and now anyone else is your 2nd-5rd choice. And their agent will definitely make it known you did or he is a shite agent.
