I think they have to pay big for the pressure and getting caught flat footed.

My guess, 6 years 100k.

Edit Make that 100M.

So $5M more annually than his predecessor, the GOAT?

Sometimes it’s better to not guess

UW football coach Kalen DeBoer is the 44th highest-paid coach in NCAA college football, with a total annual pay of $4.2 million, USA Today found.

$9,000,000/year would put him tied for 10th....
$8,000,000/year would put him tied for 14th....

He will not get Saban money ($11.4m/yr) but $8.5m/year would double his salary now, and i would guess it would be heavily incentivized. and would need to be in the 5-7 year range....

Some outlets are reporting +$10 million a year. Thats almost as much as Saban made...and Saban has like 7 championships.

Thats insane if that turns out to be the case

I’d be shocked if it’s less than $10mm per.

Coaches passed on the job because they don't want to follow tGOAT. Alabama has to make it a very attractive order IMHO, because the fans might call for your head in a few seasons. If the money is Jimbo Retirement Plan-good, then you get more interest.
