That is plausible and, if so, he will always be second-rate to his own half-hearted ambition. In that sense, his gamesmanship is a profitable fool's errand. Kiffin is either real or just a forgettable court jester. I can't tell which.

Ole Piss is getting Sextoned. LSU & UF are the vehicle.

He’s not staying lol. Lane may be a troll but he’s not an idiot, if he’s got an LSU and Florida offer y'all really think he is staying at Ole Miss lol. Get real He’s been coaching his whole life to get to the top. This is the top

I agree with this. And timing is perfect with 2 big programs open and him coming off his best season. He’s not going to retire in Oxford and this is his best opportunity. The playoff run is delaying things . He might want to see how far they can go. I think the only way he stays at OM is if they make a deep run and everybody finds a coach before he’s available.

Ole Miss will not be able to sustain it. Just won’t. Not a big enough fan base, no national recognition…. Could they be a “make the playoffs ever 4-5 years” program? Yes…. But they will never be a perennial contender.

This is all so gay that the three schools should band together and reduce the payout specifically to reverse troll lane

This whole idea of him wanting a bigger NIL commitment from Ole Miss is asinine when the reports are he’s asking for 15 mil a year. If it’s NIL he wanted he could take 12 a year and add that extra 3 million a year to be extra in there NIL fund.

Do you ever see the sucker in the room? I doubt it.

Lane wants 15mm plus the bigger NIL commitmment. You dont give up your own salary to get a bigger NIL. You demand both.

By the way, OM can't afford that. FL and LSU can.

We've met every demand he had. If he doesn't want to be here he is going to leave simple as that.

We could also be using him and his circus to temper the deals we will be making with other candidates.

Of course, a move like that would require shrewd and crafty decision makers and I’m not sure we have a plenitude of those involved.

Agreed, I think Sexton fed Dellinger the 30 Million NIL number to put pressure on Ole Miss to do the same.
