I was okay with Kiffin until this visit which looks credible. Too much drama associated with this whole situation. People can blame the governor but Kiffin adds significantly to it. I really hope it’s not Kiffin. At this point I think Baker should be our top priority or someone who isn’t into the drama. We need to stop trying for the celebrity coach and get someone who will put his attention to building a quality program.

Imagine lane caring about how people think of him

Do you even know who the OP is referring to? So you think the higher ups are telling this guy (whoever it may be) to say that Lane to UF is a done deal for political gain?

I stand by my original comment. ESPN has a history from the top on down

I’m not sure ESPN has any more actual insight than this board does.

Perhaps even less.

ESPN stopped being a sports network when Disney bought them. Old talking points are being talked about on some hack radio show nobody listens to because the network is busy trying to cram soccer and WNBA down our throats.

You think anyone at ESPN or on here can actually say what Landry did that would take LSU out of this "race for lane"?

The Governor stands to lose in this ongoing coaching circle that he has involved himself. The outcome is to be determined but it hasn’t been a good look so far.possibly a deterrent to attracting a top level coach. I hope I’m wrong.

Lol. I heard somebody on ESPN radio say that LSU is going to beat Western Kentucky. Think he might have said it for political gain though idk.

Dumb. You're missing the point where everyone else here gets what I'm saying. You're playing stupid

Yet no where else on ESPN are they reporting that... Web, ESPN SC... seems like you listened to some blow hard that was a guest on ESPN radio providing his dumbass opinion.

Or this is a troll, either way this dog don't hunt

ESPN morning radio had a big segment on Kiffin LSU and UF this morning. Basically saying LSU is out because of the governor and it’s all UF. Talked about Lanes past and how it would look if he left the team in the middle of a playoff run. So basically if espn calls him to UF it’s all LSU.

So basically they opined on what they thought based on the 30,000 ft view of everything.

Unless ESPN drops breaking news, I don't really care what their opinion people think on the talk shows because they aren't plugged in here. They are just commenting on the hottest CFB topic right now and doing it lazily. You can tell, because a few weeks after the governor made an arse of himself, Kiffin's wife and sister-in-law scheduled a trip to BR to look at schools and neighborhoods.

I’m tired of hearing about Lane. You would think he’s comparable to Saban which is laughable. He hasn’t won shite!

My guy told me it’s a done deal. Orgeron’s official title is Political Liaison with Ponamsky as his assistant.

Considering ESPNs history on shitting the bed during coaching searches. I’d lean it’s pretty official. That being said I was being condescending
