Bold Move Cotton. If i was WAS, i'd trade 1.2 for ransom and build around Howell for time being.

Terrible hire. The more things change, the more they stay the same. You would’ve thought they would’ve learned from all the young coaching talent they let leave right through the front door.

Well that will suck for Daniels if he goes there.

To fire Ron Rivera only to hire Quinn is so incredibly sick and twisted.

has to be a kick in the nuts to go from thinking you're getting one of the most sought after young offensive minds in the league....to a retread defensive coach.

then, i'd build around jayden over drake maye. my 2 cents. at least jayden can self create an offense at times.

could be cool if doug nussmeier ended up in washington in some role drafting Jayden Daniels.

Especially after going through 3 years of Ron Rivera

Another mediocre retread head coach. Well done Washington.

This SCREAMS carpet being pulled out from under them.

This is why it's so tough to wait on coordinators going deep into the playoffs. Ben Johnson turning them down at the 11th hour has straight up fricked them.

Would maybe roll the dice on a frank smith before a rivera clone especially if you plan to draft and develop a franchise qb at 1.2

Well, in a slight defense of Quinn, he did hire Kyle Shanahan in ATL. So he does have a track record of occasionally making a good OC hire, and certainly isn't scared of having a good offense (for being a defensive guy).

What was the biggest weirdo factor for WAS the past few year was their D. Their D was so shitty compared to their talent. Again, Quinn may be able to help there immensely.

I am not a WAS fan or anything, and I think they had the rug pulled, but they could have done worse than Dan Quinn trying to salvage this situation.

If you're a Washington fan and you get new ownership and you think okay maybe these guys are really going to change things up the first thing they do is go out and hire a retread head coach.

I would be pissed off.
