Many people on this board, especially Arkansas fans, claimed Sumlin was a terrible hire and would struggle to win 5 games in his first year

I think Jones was a great hire, it's not always the splash hire that's the right one.

then explain your shitty hire, and our homerun hire

Yea your homerun hire who was a puppet of the AD at his previous job. Don't you find it weird that you hire a coach that complained that he didn't have enough control at his previous job and now his former AD is coaching his team in the Rose Bowl. Pretty much shows that Alvarez ran the show at Wisconsin.

You're right, a coach that has lead his team to 3 straight Rose Bowls isn't a homerun hire. Good lord you frickers are stupid
The dude finished first out right one time in his conference. Keep in mind he's lost all of those rose bowls and has was gift wrapped this one because of the sanctions. The guy has lost 10 games over the past three years. Average or above average, maybe? A homerun? I think not.

The shite hole,
Extra large ziploc bag full of dicks that is Arkansas is 4-13 all time against UT. While losing 3 out of the last 5, and have been irrelevant for half a century. I asked my good bud Squints how long he thought it would be until the tFagBacks and their Bobby Hill look alike coach could obtain just 1 SEC championship. He replied, " FUUUCK, those losers? "

Arky fans Jelly so they're trying to troll. I probably would too if we always had a second tier football program in a shitty state

Jones is actually regarded as a very good recruiter fwiw. Far better than Kelly in that department while at Cincy.

This is actually true, according to recruiting site rankings.

He's 0-2 in them giving up 66 combined points and only got there this year with FIVE losses (four of them conference losses) because the best team in the conference is banned from post-season play.

Keep squealing, piggie. Maybe someday your football team will be relevant.....

Apparently you're more ignorant and hard-headed than I even thought.

He took over a program that, by several accounts, was eroding from the inside and coming off a less than stellar season. After a rough first year, his team apparently has come together and is heading to the Sugar Bowl with only one loss.

Will has been an overachiever for most of his life and seems respected by some very successful coaches in the business. Sure, it's possible that he may never have another winning season and he gets the boot, but that seems unlikely

STFU, y'all claimed you would suck arse as well.

I think Butch was a good hire, though. Just like Bielema, he has questions though. Nobody is a guarantee.

Here it is,
I think Tennessee got the best hire in Jones and that is not me being biased towards Tennessee. If you had told me 3 weeks ago that Jones, Malzahn, Stoops, and Bielema were the coaches hired of the SEC schools and not know which one went where. I look at that list and Jones and Bielema are the best based on records.
For Arkie I think Bielema is a great coach but he has lost the last 2 Rose Bowls by large margins and it looks like Wisky could lose another one by a wide margin. I just don't think Bielema should be in the SEC, he is more of a BIG guy. Only time will tell and he may be very successful but I just don't see it.

An Arky fan flaming LSU fans for not being at the same level as BAMA..... somehow that is quite humorous.

Lulz. He lost to Oregon by 7 and to TCU by 3. Not what I would consider large margins.

Yeah, a total of 9 points is a huge margin

The frick does that have to do with anything? He's not their coach anymore

How is his situation ANY different from Saban? The only time Saban had been in the south was one year at the Oilers. Other than that he had never been anywhere close to the South.
