Verge confirmed we didn’t offer Riley.

He said weeks ago that Riley wasn’t being considered. He also said not to worry about Stoops or BoB. Leads me to believe Woodward has his guy.

I keep beating to death if Woodward has his guy it's either Fickell, Aranda or Kelly as they are waiting for CFP fate. Every other coach is in okay and would've been announced by now.

That's all that really matters at this point. You can throw a dozen names in a hat, pull one and they all could come to LSU and bomb(by LSU standards) or be great. Truth is...there are no "can't miss" coaches available because there's really only 1. The main thing for me is that Woodward got who he went after and didn't settle. I hope it's Fickell and have always hoped that. We all convinced ourselves that Riley was some offensive-Saban that would ride in and dominate. NOTHING shows that he's that! Like others have said...melt when the hire is made if you must but we all loved CEO after '19...remember that!
