Because he has 1 year left on his deal and likely looking for the Cardinals to put a generous extension on the table.

Fickell will baffle the hell out of me if he says no to LSU but yes to Oklahoma. If the stories are true and he loves being up north it would make zero sense to not want LSU but want Oklahoma. If he doesn’t take any of these jobs then i have no clue if he takes any other job.

Well, Oklahoma is a tad more north than Louisiana.

Venables, Heupel, Campbell, and both Stoops are the ones that make the most sense.
Kliff: no way
Norvell: no way, in the other direction.
Aranda will either stay with Baylor or come to LSU.
Grinch is already going to be at USC.
Fickell is the major unknown in this, but if Cincy wins on Saturday I don’t see how he takes any job until January.

I am saying which of those 10 that OU would actually consider. Venebles, Aranda, Campbell and Fickell are the four from that list that OU would consider.
