USC has given up and quit. The fan base has been beaten down by the administration. There will be 20k people at games this year. People are fed up. Bohn and Folt just pissed on USC Football’s ashes.
Helton is a good person and nice guy but he’s a terrible coach and that’s been clear since he was the interim. The bloodbath in Dallas to start the year is going to be incredible.

I really do think Urban is holding out another year to see what happens at Texas.
Also, football is much better when USC is relevant. I use to love to tune in to those primetime games with Pete Carrell.

Why? Because they have the largest fan base on the west coast. When they are not elite...30% of the country doesn't care about CFB. Those that say it's not better when USC is relevant live in a bubble and don't care about the overall sport.
Cfb is best when no one team is dominating, when OSU, Mich,ND are good in the Midwest and Penn State on the east coast. When the Florida teams are good, when the big 6 are good, and when a west coast team, mainly USC is good.

Bruce Young will light up USC’s defense next year. Hell, he will be playing against the same 3* kids he beat up on for the last couple of years in high school.
Bama will be fine against USC. Just put in 2016 game replay and repeat, but with no USC fans in attendance to see it.

There’s like 3,000 high schools in California. They can’t find 20 high end recruits who want to come to play - it’s USC FOR CHRISTS SAKE. That bs alone should require the head coach to be fired.
