Local Dallas media are saying Garrett’s contract expires Wednesday and he’s been told they aren’t renewing it.

Everyone saw it coming. Wonder if they will wait till then to announce it.

So who do you think Jerry goes after? He’s 77 and I just don’t see him going after a college guy and starting over. I think he wants a plug and play

The Panthers went to the playoffs 3 times in the nine years Rivera was head coach. Take away Cam’s 15-1 season and Rivera has a losing record as head coach. Average head coach, at best.

There’s only 8 current HCs that you could “take away” 15 of their wins and have them still above .500

I think Garrett could do really well in smaller market like Cleveland or Cincinnati or Jacksonville.

OK, so you think making the playoffs three times in nine seasons gets trumped by 1 15-1 season and a Super Bowl loss? Got it.

If I’m only making the playoffs on average once every three years, then I’m looking for a new head coach. If I don’t have one of the half-dozen coaches that is the cream of the crop, then I keep searching until I find him. Ron Rivera isn’t one of those coaches. You accept mediocrity more easily.

Watch how good the cowboys are if they get Riviera

They didn't always have the best talent either

Saints
Falcons
Even the bucs are around 8 wins

He is a good coach
He had a shitty gm for a good amount of time

Won’t matter who they hire. Nothing will change until Jerry and his bunch get out of the way and let the coach run the team.

No I think it’s silly to try to take out a coaches best season to discredit his accomplishments

I can of hope Jerry Jones doesn't even acknowledge it. Just has a press conference announcing a new coach.

That’s a cute response but very misleading.

There aren’t that many coaches in the league that have coached for that amount of time. So yeah. You can’t take away 15 wins from Shanahan. Congrats. You got him.

Do it has a a % of games

Buddy I’m not the one trying to discount records to fit the argument I’m trying to prevent.

How is that misleading but comparing his record without 15 wins being counted vs his peers not having the same disadvantage?

Why are we trying to take away wins in the first place? It’s a silly argument

Because it’s different sample sizes lol.

How about “take away his best season”?

This is basic math dude.
