Just my opinion because of his family's situation in Tally.
If you ex-wife was sleeping with every dude in Tallahassee, or Gainesville for that matter, wouldn't you want to get as far away from her as possible?

I've seen a couple FSU posters here say they think he's gone too. For some reason, I'm not confident he'll actually do it. Hope I'm wrong though.

8 mil a year. Watch and see

Fisher is likely to stay put in Tally.
quote:Again, I was just putting a synopsis together since someone asked. The thought conveyed was that LSU isn't getting into a bidding war for Herman against Texas and Oregon. Makes sense to me considering the money they have. We can compete but not win a bidding war.
LSU needs to go all out for Herman until he says yes or no.
Jimbo makes the most sense for many reasons. The ball is in his court if he wants this opportunity. I think it's win-win, but it's on him. I do believe LSU will pay Jimbo more than FSU if that's an obstacle.

Ohio State is another team that paid big to get an elite coach in Urban. We need to just pony up the cash and grab Herman

quote:This makes me wonder why Jimbo would be mentioned two years in a row. It's a tough thing for me to swallow that he would play games with FSU again so soon unless he legitimately was interested in leaving. There may be other reasons besides money for him wanting to leave. Just a thought.

Plus, he didn't even get a raise last year.

Yes we do
It pays for itself
It pays for itself

Yeah, because Urban = Herman

Urban almost lost to an unranked team today.
Posted on 11/19/16 at 10:14 pm to Stevo
Close wins and losses happen. He's still an elite coach.
Posted on 11/19/16 at 10:16 pm to Old Money
And has one multiple titles including one just 2 years ago with his 3rd string qb
Posted on 11/19/16 at 10:21 pm to Stevo
If jimbo wasn't interested why would they be offering anything this year? Nothing changes in less than a year. They would have known better than to even contact him. That tells me he is interested and we have a shot. Maybe he stays but there is interest for sure. A lot of FSU fans laugh at the fact that we think he's coming. I hope we get the last laugh

If his son is healthy then I would say yes, get away from Tally as far as possible to make a new life but blood is thicker than water and you know what I mean.

It's very tight lipped. He might have already accepted it, or might have already declined it. He's LSU A#1 target
Prob already mentioned and I'm not reading whole thread, but I feel like if he said no, LSU would be publicly linked with more options and Jimbo would also squash the rumors immediately so all this saga would end for him

The money may be great so he may need time to think about it. Hopefully we all would know the decision a week from today.

Fedora would be a clown hire.

quote:yeah, offenses like UNC and Texas Tech always put up big numbers, until they dont. they overwhelm average and bad teams and then stop dead against every good defense. over and over and over and over again.

how many titles has that offense won? its not new, versions have been around for 50 years, if its so great why does no one in the NFL run it?
