Some serious revisionist history there.

Kelly sucked and was never #1 target. ND was happy to see him go because they knew his ceiling!

He has very few now.

Fired from Raiders
Left slUT after 1 season
Fired at USC
Fired by Saban the week before CFP Final
FAU - they’d probably still take him back

Ole Miss??

That’s literally every successful coach who leaves for a better program. Dumb take.

Didn’t Tyrann get kicked off the team? Yeah, let’s listen to that guy

And he's not nearly the same person he was then. But keep bringing some's past up to discredit them as if your past was squeaky clean.

So you want to coach at LSU, but you say this about the possible incoming head coach. Not a good move bro.

I hate when LSU fans make LSU look bad

Don’t worry, the media tries to do that on a daily basis. Their main priority it seems whenever LSU is the topic is to make the entire university look like a bunch of clowns. And it doesn’t help that our own fanbase jumps right in there with them.

A lot of folks seem to forget the Coaching is a job/career. Nothing wrong with leaving for a better opportunity.

If I’m not mistaken, we have hired every football coach following Coates from another program and/or our coach has left to go to another program. In fact, I would love to learn of an example wherein a coach started his career at a particular program, let’s say around 22 years of age, and retired from that program, without having ever left, 40-50 years later.

Emotions rarely account for the facts.

Getting ready to play in an essentially meaningless bowl game is far different from selling your team out at the beginning of a playoff run that could lead to a championship

Show me where the loyalty is in the NIL era of college football. There's none with players, coaches or administrators. Everybody's chasing a bag.

This is not a statement from somebody that wants to be on the new staff. I am not sure what benefit comes from publicly stating this.

Tyrann isn't wrong. I know a lot of y'all want Kiffin, but I think we're setting ourselves up for disaster if he tanks here.

I think we've set ourselves up already, believing he's actually coming here.

Exactly, Lane has to decide on one great season at OM or pass up a dream job that only comes open so often. It’s his life, timing sucks, but he deserves to do what’s best for him, not just do what’s best for OM right now.
