Now that those who will bash any news and any non-news and their eternal opponents have weighed in, I have an actual question about part of the OP.
What exactly does "Wants current DC's" mean?
If taken literally, that would seem to exclude people like Pendagast who is not coaching right now and Schiano who was last a HC I think from consideration. Heck, it would have excluded Muschamp if he had been available.
Or does it just mean he is not looking to find someone at a lower level to promote: ie: Steele, Haley?

Last night I called my LSU guy. We had a pretty extensive 12 minute talk. I must say it was a fairly heavily favored neutral chatter. He made valid points that Les may have his guy or he could really be struggling to find a qualified wnough candidate for the right price.

If it doesn't agree with what >insert poster < wants, Miles is an idiot. Before any of this happened, I guarantee you 90% of the guys bitching and complaining never even heard of Pendergast.
Hell, even I had to look him up and I consider myself somewhat knowledgeable. So basically, people make a decision about what they read and they stick with it...Miles doesn't do the same and he's terrible.
