People who are “connected” to a college football program are people who enjoy showing off. It’s only natural that they pretend to have even better connections than they actually do.
Probably that poster really did have lunch with a friend who is fairly well connected, but Scott Woodward would be a fool to tell anyone, outside of a two or three person team, what’s going on. And that team would be trustworthy people who tell no one.
