shite.

Willie has done a great job but I do not fault him for pursuing one last big pay check and an upgrade in job.

Hopefully Tulane makes a very smart hire instead of...what they have done in the past.

Ready to make the migration to Houston. Just like everything else that was ever productive in New Orleans

Fritz wasn't happy with the AD situation and his guy didn't get the job
He was all but gone last year to GA Tech
Houston will be a good job for him and access to a Power 5 position
Tulane should be thankful he put them on the map

Yup.

And now its time to make a bold hire that keeps it going.

Or perhaps he wants a higher paying job in a better city where both of his daughters currently live?

Yeah. No argument against that.

I am grateful for his time here. Most coaches don’t stay at the same place for very long. To get Tulane to this point after what the program was when he started is nothing short of miraculous

Tulane should hire Rich Rod.

It’s time to right past wrongs.

If there is no last minute change who would Tulane go after to replace him?

Atkins would be an interesting hire. You obviously run the risk of a young guy not sticking around though

I’d think Rich Rod would do great there and probably never leave

No
We’ll go get another Sunbelt coach. They’re not gonna clown this up. I hope.
This has nothing to do with the A.D. Houston is paying a lot of money and the big 12 is the greatest power conference ever because it has no power teams.
