There’s no way the hire is someone “no one is expecting”

This board has listed every breathing head coach and coordinator of the last 25 years. At this point it’s impossible for it to be someone that no one expects

It’s Dabo, Rhule, Urban, Aranda, Kelly, Kiffin, or Saban.

Anyone else and there might be a riot.

That's precisely when you hire Ed Orgeron

That’s why when Sean Payton is named the whole LSU world will be flipped on their heads.

+ Campbell and Fickell and I'm 99% sure our new coach is listed here.

At this point I would not be entirely shocked if they bring back Orgeron on a dramatically restructured deal after striking out on every single coach with a national profile.

Might be time to start guessing dead coaches.

Heard Bear Bryant wants to come out of retirement.

It’s absolutely possible that it could be someone we are not expecting.

There is a difference between “not expecting” and “never been mentioned”.

For instance, what if it is Brian Kelly from Notre Dame. I’m sure he has been mentioned, and maybe even discussed infrequently on this board. That said, very few are expecting Brian Kelly to be the next LSU HC

I believe some coaches no longer breathing have been brought up as well.

You have placed a coach with two years of experience and only one winning season in this list, think about that. Ridiculous

Not true at all. While all coaches have certainly been mentioned, it absolutely could be someone that no one expected. Saying no one has mentioned versus no one has expected are simply not one in the same.
