Let's wait until tomorrow is over before we start making Frank walk the plank. There are a whole lot of rumors circulating, let's see what actually takes place.

I would argue he's not even an elite recruiter anymore.

Yup. The elite recruiter now is the check book.

If true and he is telling recruits to hold off and would potentially try to use that as leverage then we don’t need him because that shows it’s more about Frank than LSU like he talks about so he needs to go and not coach the bowl if that is the case. LSU is bigger than one assistant that is only a good recruiter

You tell me why Richard Anderson and Lamar Brown both re-affirmed their commitments the other day and both are now considering waiting?

To be fair, neither know who their coaches are going to be right now. If Baker announces he is returning tomorrow then things might go differently.

frick Frank. He’s trying to trump Kiffin and use his status he thinks he has for leverage. Might suffer a little this go round but whatever. Their detriment.

Are we sure that what changed was all the recruits heard about the big pot of NLI money that was available and they want to be sure they are getting whatever they think their share is.

If they sign and then all the portal guys and the hold outs that are being recruited start getting paid then they may be concerned they get the short end of the stick.

Maybe Lane should offer Bryce Brown that position if Frank doesn't want it.

Frank is overrated… not saying highly overrated but it’s not like he’s been some God gifted recruiter lately.

Besides… doesn’t NIL $$ change all that?

Money doesnt solve everything. Players still want to know who they will be coached by day after day.

Would you ever take a new job if you had no clue who your direct supervisor will be?

While it certainly helps, this is definitely not true. Players still want to know who they will be coached by day after day and right now thats up in the air.

Would you ever take a new job if you had no clue who your direct supervisor will be? Of course you wouldnt.

Most people take jobs after only talking to the hiring manager. Not exactly b or c level jobs, but most people don't need to talk to the kitchen manager to be able to wash dishes or work the fryer.

Lane wanted to retain Frank but move him to an off-the-field role as a recruiting specialist (perhaps in a made up position.)

Which makes sense because Frank is not a good RB coach. I’ve never seen rb’s so mismanaged.

Well how can that be . Lane gave them all ultimatums Sunday. Where was Smith???

Or just maybe the kids he's personally recruited want to be sure he's at LSU before they sign. Maybe it's the kids and their parents making the decisions, and NOT FRANK.

These are some mighty big accusations you’re leveling against a guy who has been pretty loyal to LSU for hearing buzz and reading tea leaves.
