I don't think there is much of a debate. O and Kiffin are like family, if Kiffin wants him in the program he will be here. It's interesting to me if he's not on staff.

2) worse, he laughs about receiving notice of the firing and buyout, painting it as though he was “winning” in this situation

I mean, what do you want him to do? He got fired. It still sucks. He was just making light of things. He said he didn't meet expectations and he understood the expectations and LSU's decision. He said he did as much as he could do and it was time for someone else to take over. I agreed with everything he said.

He didn't betray LSU and has only spoken highly of the university. Quit being a pussy.

Because its the only names they know. They are from here, and they talk like them. Its all the simple minds can comprehend.

So you want O in a family’s living room telling a kid’s parents he’s gonna take care of their son while at LSU?

That’s a hard pass for me.

He burned this program to the ground. AFTER winning a national championship.

No thanks.

He's one of 4 coaches to won a natty.
He's one of 3 coaches to have a player hoist a Heisman.
He's one of 2 coaches to do both.
He's the only one still alive.

Whether He's employed by the university or not, he should always be welcomed. Same for Saban, same for Les. It would be nice to get them all 3 together for once, honestly and now would be the perfect time to do it.

Do I want I back as a coach? Probably not, but the team could do worse.

I would very much like him to show remorse in having failed at his job, not laugh off his dereliction of duty, when as a native Louisianan he should know how much LSU football means. Have an ounce of class, and maybe apologize for his shortcoming.

But that’s just me. No, wait, that is the vast majority of LSU fans and alumni.

The line that comes to mind is “what you’re doing speaks so loudly I can’t hear what you’re saying.” His words are meaningless.

26 piece of shite people upvoted this trash post.
He was HC of the greatest college FB team and the first at LSU in a while. Brought things back to center after so many frustrating seasons.
Had some personal family shite blow up probably due in part to so much time he devoted to the team in the 2019 run (he almost literally lived at the office).
So frick all you bitches.

No, he's a fricking moron.

He's lucky LSU ponied up serious cash to convince Aranda and Ensminger to stay on.

Like I've said before, if we had wound up with Tom Herman we still get Burrow and win a natty.

Thank you for your service, Cap'n Caveman. Now stay gone.

By willfully not doing his best at the job. He knew the requirements of the job yet chose to fall short. It’s not like Curly Hallman (or Billy Napier or even Tom Herman), who honestly tried his best, but was just overmatched for the job.

That is betrayal.

I think people are also forgetting how he got the job in the first place.

You don't want that anywhere near the program.

Bro, he should hire you as his fricking agent.

Get off of his jock.

He is a grown man, that acted like a 16 year old when his parents go out of town and leave him unsupervised.

We gave him $17 million.

Thanks for the memories, now get lost.

Keep the shrimp boat captain far far far far away from our program.

Yes, he betrayed you by bringing you the greatest football season you’ll ever experience in your life,
2019 was brought to us by Brady; Ensminger, Aranda, Burrow, Chase and Jefferson. (Bill Busch got Burrow out of Ohio) O was a glorified cheerleader running up and down the sidelines clapping his hands while trying to stay out if the way.

The O debate….

I like coach O, flaws and all. I can also say he could have done better, even with the deck stacked against him.

I think whatever Lane Kiffin decides, I'll roll with that.

Just look at some of these posters crying like a bitch for the last week or so about the possibility of O taking Kyle's place as D line coach based off of a rumor, when the end result is it's neither of them.

LSU will be alright with, or without him.
