New Orleans guy, great relations, good offensive coach learning under Andy Reid and he’s black. Is he a top candidate? No, but he’s getting a look and he wants the job.

It's been suggested that Woodward is not going to hire a non HC. I don't believe he has ever ran a program before.

That would be a super risky hire. Don't care what his credentials are in the NFL, he has never held a position of value at HC. Can he recruit? NFL guys do not always translate well to NCAA just like NCAA guys don't always translate well to NFL. Can he recruit? Can he adjust a scheme to not be overly complex for young men to learn? etc.
As an OC? Hell yeah. HC? Too risky.

I meant that in the terms that a minority hire will appeal to people and give off a certain look in our racial climate. I’m a black guy but I want the best person for the job. We can be honest about the world we live in. I’m sure Tate wants a black coach.

It’s funny looking at the Reid coaching tree, most of the successful ones are defensive guys (McDermott, Rivera, Frazier and Bowles as DCs)

Bieniemy was banned from Colorado's campus for a year for grabbing a female parking attendant by the neck.
He was also involved in a recruiting scandal where recruits were given drugs and alcohol. I don't think they could ever pin it on him but his name was involved in that fiasco.

He will not get a HC job one day. He should’ve already had the opportunity, if it hadn’t happened by now, it’s never going to happen. This would be a terrible hire.

Word is he's an absolutely terrible interview & at times is incoherent. If its a minority hire we have better options.
