100% made up. Said it last night.
This is OM trying to smear Kiffin to make him look as bad as possible on his way out the door.
I'm sure Kiffin will clear it all up once he's in BR - along with his staff.
Pretty sure he won't be taking any shite after the way all of this has gone down in the media.
Also, McMurphy and BitchBoy should never be allowed in the building moving forward.

It's not made up. Kiffin told his staff if they aren't on a plane to BR tomorrow (being yesterday), they don't have jobs there.

Likely what happened is Lane said if I go to LSU now I’ll have to start recruiting and putting together a staff. Some of those players and people would be from Ole Miss, as is normal in coaching change situations. However, if I stay through playoffs, those people and players would likely stay through the playoffs too.

LK has always pushed the "rules", see hurt flopping rule, and said so much as you don't like it, change it. This is no different, with the guidance of Jimmy Sexton and with the apparent blessing of LSU, he is pushing the terms of his contract to the N'th degree, squeezing out all he can and forcing Ole Mrs. to either fire him, he gets a payoff, or let him coach the playoffs. Ole Piss just happens to be the lackey in all of this.
