I don’t get how Rece Davis is host of that show. He’s so dull, dorky and biased. The show losing Chris Fowler was a bigger hit than Corso getting old. Fowler was / is a much better pro than Rece ever could imagine.

The only person up there with an opinion that Lane gives a frick about is Saban....and we all know Saban has been pushing him to LSU behind the scenes. Irrespective of Lane going to either LSU or UF - exactly what has he done to damage his reputation?
Coaches leave programs all the time; is it ideal? No. But that’s a problem with college football, not any particular coach.
How else should Kiffin have handled the last two weeks? He’s said nothing publicly and has only met with the AD and president privately to discuss.
Would it be better for him to say publicly to players and administrators that he’s staying at OM and under cover of night, get on a private jet to LSU and Zoom call his players to tell them he left?
Oh wait, that’s what Elko did to Duke players when he took the A&M job. Yet not a peep about that anymore.

It is interesting how other coaches get roasted for losing big games and only winning against easy schedules, yet Lanning always gets a pass.

In this case - winning, not time heals all wounds. Though there is the possibility the cycle repeats itself in 5 years. Especially if he doesn't have quite as much success as he thought he would.
