Texas Tech boosters pushing for Art Briles

Say what you want but Briles is a hell of a coach. That being said if Tech does go in this direction, they better be ready for absolute hell coming down on them by the National media.

Briles team is playing in the state semifinals right now in the old Rangers Baseball Stadium. Globe Life Park I think it’s called. This is the deepest the school has ever gone in the playoffs.

After all, Tech did hire Bobby Knight many years ago as head roundball coach.

If Art Briles is put in a situation where he can recruit talent like a LSU or another major program he would show he’s a much better coach than Saban.

I’d tell the media to eat my whole arse. The AD only needs to explain his decisions to the President of the University and the alumni, mainly the big money boosters. Since the latter are the ones pushing for it, that just leaves the former.
If I’m a father, I’m comfortable sending my son to him. Maybe those boys were guilty, maybe they weren’t. But I’m not going to send my child to a program that will throw his arse under the bus and wreck his name just because of an allegation. You stand up for your players until they are convicted in a court of law.
All this sissy Obama era bullshite where women can make an allegation and it destroy a young man’s future is outrageous. And what’s crazy is it is usually little white girls accusing young black men of it and the national media cheers it on, but let that young black man be a purposeless criminal vagrant out on the streets doing unlawful shite and get shot by the police in the process and here comes the Al Sharpton bullshite from them.
But yeah Tech should hire him. Lubbock is isolated enough that they can do whatever they want without prying eyes.
