He coaches like he's playing a video game on easy mode

Possible, but I really don't seem him going anywhere that doesn't have female cheerleaders

Lane in College Station would be Joey Fish-out-of-water. I can't see it happening if A&M is not giving out stupid Jimbo money.

Lane is perfect for ole miss. Go anywhere from 8-4 to 10-2 consistently and they will love you

higher ceiling

I keep seeing this bandied about.

higher expectations

This absolutely.

more NIL money

Also this.

But having higher expectations and more NIL money hasn’t equated to a higher ceiling.

They will need to fix their culture before the ceiling meets expectations.

But if they want to pay Jimbos buyout, Kiffins SEC buyout along with the absurd amount they’d need to pay him to leave, I guess go for it.

He makes just as much at Mississippi as A&M would give him. He would have more NIL money and a higher ceiling, but also higher expectations. It all depends on what Lane wants. It would be a pressure cooker there, but at the money he has already made, it's not like money is a factor...he either wants to win titles or just cruise control and be set.

all true... i wouldnt want the expectations there honestly... Theyve never won... at anything... He would have to change the culture there and that is very hard to do... TAMU has all the things that you need to win titles no doubt but, there is a reason why they havent... culture..

Kiffin would be very dangerous at any major program.

He can only do so much at ole miss. I think this weekend probably taught him that.

If he wants to win a title he has to make a move. Aggies would be lucky to pull him

Hmm. I wonder how he would do at USC?

Kiffin had it made at USC and fricked that up. Orgeron did a better job with Kiffin's last USC team than Kiffin did.

That was a long time ago. He is definitely not the same coach or guy he was back then.

Seems like we heard the same stuff about Auburn last year, and Lane stayed in Oxford.

I don't see A&M breaking the bank again for a guy like Kiffin.

I think Auburn made a run at him but it wasn't enough money.

Lane has a good situation in Oxford, it's going to take exorbitant money to get him out of there - which A&M has.

We'll see if they really want him.

If it is Kiffin, it is the best kept secret in college football.

I think there are lots of good coaches out there but man I think yall are making a mistake if you don’t hire Elko. He’s a guy who would get the absolute most out of the talent you have and would run a good program that was about discipline and doing things the right way

I wouldn't even interview him. Look what he continues to do against top teams? Lanning from Oregon is the one. Might try for Kelly if Texas A&M wanted see LSU lose their prize HC go to a rival. Or maybe Texas HC? You know make an effort to get those other schools to pony up to keep their HC from leaving.

Dont interview Lane because he loses to top teams. Hire Kelly who is the master of losing to top teams. Yes that makes no sense. Take a nap.

I know about that, but I am just joking about Kelly. I am glad LSU has Kelly as their HC. Both Kelly and Kiffin are the ones can't seem to get it done to win a championship.
