The fact that we have passionate fans heatedly arguing about this is exactly why LSU wouldn't hire him. Why bring that discord?

What the hell are you talking about? Its easily a majority of fans that are on board to hire Briles. You and a small handful want to make Briles guilty based on nothing but pure baseless conjecture, speculation, and delusions in your own mind.

I'm waiting for you to answer these questions:

Or would you probably do your best to protect him if you ever got involved in bad shite by keeping him out the loop?

NEW Baylor lawsuit alleges 52 rapes by football players in 4 years, 'show 'em a good time' culture

This is what it says:

quote:

Former assistant coach Kendal Briles — the son of the head coach — once told a Dallas-area student athlete, "Do you like white women? Because we have a lot of them at Baylor and they love football players," according to the suit.

Thats it? Thats the best you've got?

In high school, my sister and I were named in a criminal rape case because she saw the accuser at the party and they sat on the tailgate of my truck for a few minutes in a crowd.

We knew absolutely nothing of the rape or that they even were together.

"Named" in a case is such bullshite.

Exactly. People are so retarded when it comes to the justice system. SJWs have 0 idea of how business, the justice system or government work.

Witnesses are technically "named" in a case.

I guess if you witness a crime that disqualifies you for a coaching position. Burn your eyes out with a hot poker.

They haven't even entered into discovery yet. LSU has no idea what testimony might be entered into evidence, resulting in the dismissal of their brand new OC a week before the season starts

Yes I was. Do you honestly think I was being serious about Josh McDaniel being LSU’s offensive coordinator?

So the Tennessee thing might cost us an amazing hire that would turn our program around?

Obviously not. You have made a point to jump in my last two threads to be obnoxious.. Despite me being correct in both other threads. Im not sure what your end goal is , but you dont seem to be reaching it.

They have in the previous lawsuits, and guess what they found? Nothing.

There's a reason she implicates 31 people....probably because she expects at least a few to hit.

People can and will file lawsuits for anything and everything.

You speak as though you fully expect them to find something even though you know nothing about the facts of the case.

My view hinges on how the prior lawsuits went, and in none of those law suits was he implicated. Why would this one be different?

Also, by reading it, they are trying to implicate 31 football players, not Briles. Then again, I'm going by whats actually written in the article, not just reaching in to my imagination for whatever I think might have happened from my armchair.

If I were O, I'd play the race card.

It's racist not to hire Briles for telling (presumably African American) football players that there are white women at Baylor who like football players.

Gotta wonder how much this tidbit fuels the people against the hire.

The whole "rapist" argument is ridiculous. They don't believe he's a rapist nor condones it. They worried he's gonna introduce their daughter to the BBC and she'll love it.

Anyone against the Briles hire will forget about it once we start hitting 40 every game.
