I want him.

With Aranda running the D, Fisher and whoever else working on the O and QB development.

Why are we not funding this.

I would be fine with Jimbo. I think he would do great here, and he checks the boxes that Alleva said he wants in the next HC.

#TeamJimbeaux

I'm on board. I believe in his ability to develop QBs at a high level. I trust his recruiting. Hes familiar with LSU and he's done a bunch of winning at Free Shoes U. He's the guy I want

Zero chance the school is going to pay Jimbo's buyout, Miles' buyout, FSU suppprt staff buyout, Cam's buyout, Jimbo and company's new salary, and jeopardize losing Aranda.

No chance Jimbo is the HC at LSU next season.

I have always been on #TeamJimbo.

He has the resume, the experience, the football knowledge, and the management skills necessary for the job.

Make it happen, LSU.

Because he is a year late. Plus you can't beat Saban with a pro style offense. And if he can't beat Saban in 3 tries he gonna be Miles II in year 4th.

Isn't it mostly high dollar boosters that pay the buyouts?

Is there a way to retain Coach O if Fisher is the man?

I've wavered between Jimbo and Herman. Herman's youth and offensive system and the upsets he's pulled with lesser talent are intriguing.

I think I've settled on Jimbeaux though. To me, his assets as a coach are a little more proven than Herman (P5 QB development, recruiting chops) and that's important at LSU.

Now I know we can say knowing what we know now, would you want a Jimbo or Urban Meyer from Utah. Maybe Herman is the next up up and coming star. I just feel better about Jimbo. A little more firm in knowing what you're getting from a coach at a high demand job.

Do you watch FSU? It's a very progressive version of a pro style offense with spread concepts. It doesn't even resemble our offense!

I'm surprised it's even called a pro style offense anymore. I think it's just tagged that for recruiting purposes.

Herman may very well end up being the better coach, but I have notably more confidence in Jimbo. Even if Herman proves to be the next Urban Meyer, I could rest easy knowing we still have a tremendous coach in Jimbo. Fortune may favor the bold, but sometimes the "safer" route is the way to go.

Besides, I think trying to pull a proven coach away from Florida State is bold enough. It won't be easy, I'm afraid.

I'd love either

I think Fisher would be a bit harder pull and much more costly but either would truly be a blessing.
