Talked to someone who "knows people" at A&M

Long story short, guy is from College Station and claims to know people at A&M. According to him, they have had the buyout money since the middle of the season and Jimbo is gone. Not too far fetched, but are you ready for this one?
Aggies are going after Prime.
Believe what you want, but there's no way in hell Prime would be a good fit at A&M. I don't think the school would go for it, and I don't think he would go there.
Thought you guys might get a laugh out of that one.

They don’t have the money to fire him and pay someone else that is established the amount it would take to get them. They will have to try and gamble on an up and coming coach for less money.

Recruiting was never 4&8s problem. They could get a team of nothing but 5 star players and they still wouldn’t be any better than they are now.
Their problem is and has always been their shitty major money men who have big egos and fancy themselves as “football coaches” who all want a say so in on field issues. Reality is, they are just self indulged, spoiled shits who have never done any real work in their lives. (much like why the Dallas Cowboys can’t win anything).

I worked for a big Aggie booster in Shreveport and am still good friends with him. He told me that Jimbo gets to change coordinators as the next step. I guess that means hiring an OC too.

I would love that. He’s recruiting in the SWAC people. He’s winning on pure talent. I would love to see him in the SEC
