125 total yards against Alabama, at home, veteran QB, with a Heisman candidate. Who wouldn't promote the guy that engineered that?

Yeah, I just spoke to my son and if it goes down as being reported we are both letting our tickets go and no more donations until F King and Alleva are gone.

Hopefully all this is leaked to gauge the public opinion. Doubtful.

That’s pretty much how Alleva works. He leaked the possible Miles firing at the end of 2015, and about Johnny Jones being fired last year the day before he was actually fired. It’s pretty pathetic really.....

The reason why the compliance department seems so strict, is to distract the public and NCAA from the major allegations from coming more often....which I can assure you, we ARE guilty of....as much or more than other schools.

I supported Les Miles almost to the end. Most of us who did just wanted the “Old Les” from 05-07 back. The fact that he was a good man and legitimately fun and likable off the field made many of us want to keep liking him. But he lost most of us by the end of 2015.

O has never had the same dedicated support as Miles. Don’t let the TD echo chamber fool you. Even many of us who took a “wait and see” approach to him never fully trusted him. I hoped that he would change because we are stuck with him and that would be better than the alternative. Unfortunately, he didn’t and now we’re stuck.

Random, I respect your posts and opinions, and don't disagree totally with you. I get most excited about Gilbert who would bring in a high octane vertical passing and inside running framework from Art Briles. This is high risk as much as it could be high gain. Fact is, all HC's asses are on the line to win. O know this, and apparently wants to run a play-action, pro-style that he a Coach E had a lot of success with in 16 (some records, but poor performance vs. Alabama).

O is not under any more or less pressure with whomever he hires. His job is to win a lot of games. If he doesn't, then he is out even if the late great Bill Walsh would be his OC.

I have a hunch (and all it is is a "hunch") that he is waiting for Sark or someone on the Saints staff.

a tennessee level fan revolt could stop this. but i don't think most of our fans have an issue with the hire. they just want to tailgate and leave at halftime.

We can’t even get our fan base to wear the same color shirt for a game without many saying it’s stupid. You think they’ll have an organized protest?

Also Tennessee protests wouldn’t have worked had it just been about thinking he wasn’t a good enough coach.

You should be commended for your effort. You are part of the solution to get this dumper fire into a respectable program

Repeated for effect. Needs to be said over and over. Stop. fricking. Renewing. Season. Tickets.

I get that you like to go to the game. Buy your seats on a game by game basis. Until then, the athletics administration has objective evidence to say that fans are ok with everything.

The thing that makes the situation so damn dire is that F. King and Alleva both need to be fired before making any other kind of changes. Neither of those guys care enough about LSU football. Like it or not, LSU football is a major asset to the whole package of what makes LSU. Take away that, and it's just another random state university. And if they do care, they're for damn sure not on level as the rest of us. Nor, are they willing to do what it takes to get the program back up to speed.

Unforgivable IMO. No amount of contrition or apology can make up for that.
