He’s one of those guys that was a hot name. I don’t know if he officially was ever offered a job somewhere else, but coaches like him that get hot and stay at a stepping stone job are a head scratcher to me. Take the bag and run when it’s offered to you.

I would 100% take him onto the LSU shadow staff.

When he was at Bowling Green? He had one good year with Dungey at QB, which got him the stupid contract extension that kept him around longer than he deserved.

If Babers was ever in demand for a bigger job than Syracuse, it was only because his agent said so.

Yep, Dino owes his longevity at Syracuse to Eric Dungey. Should kick him some of the buyout money.

Nice guy, but it was time. What used to be a dynamic fun offense became the norm in NCAAF but he never evolved

I would like to thank Syracuse for offering him more money and having to settle for Willie Fritz.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Fritz was a candidate for this job

He has already turned down much better jobs.

He bolted Bowling Green after 2 seasons.
He never did enough at Syracuse to warrant another step-up.
