I don't know about him and just basing him on his record, but this doesn't seem like a good hire at all.

On the other hand there Boston College and not much they can do.

Florida fans don't think much of him. He was 13-11 in two years at Temple.

From what I've heard he is an arse hole.

This one doesn't make a lot of sense. Better to take a chance on a coordinator with some promise (See Clemson), or a lower tier conference coach (See La Tech, La Monroe) than what they got.

If you are in favor of your offense featuring 170 lb backs running the dive at 350 lb nose guards, you'll love Steve Addazio.

Here are some fun articles from back when the Dazzler roamed the sidelines of Ben Hill Griffin.

Steve Addazio was the worst offensive coordinator ever

I said in the other thread about this that it was a meh hire. Golden left him pretty well set up and he was slowly destroying it.

I did read that there is some good interest in the Temple job. Not sure how true that is, but it could be a good job.

Not sure if you know exactly where Temple is located but it is NOT a good job,Golden did great but Addazio did nothing to get a gig @ BC

I haven't seen the dive too many times at Ohio State this year.

Temple has no campus so to speak just a string of buildings along a blighted Broad Street in the hood.
A large part of Golden's success there can be attributed to his connection to the area. Golden grew up in a New Jersey suburb of Philly, he was a tight end @ Penn State, the DC @ Virginia before getting the Temple gig, Addazio was on a crash course to be like every other Temple coach other than Golden and maybe Bruce Arians.

Any comments that Temple is a good job is a case of misinformation from misinformed people
