Steeples is coaching cornerbacks and Cooks is coaching safeties

I like that combo, was a little nervous that Cooks was the sole replacement for Corey. I think these two coaches will bring in some nice talent along with good coaching

This is one of the best coaching staffs I've seen assembled at LSU, sans Saban's staff which no one thought was anything notable until later on.

I'm sold on the hires and trusting the process, but I think it's too early for the best staff assembled talk. We haven't seen them develop our guys yet.
Some of us are quick to forget the excitement over the majority of hires since Saban.
I'm just trusting the fact that we have a coach who typically knows how to spot talent and get the most out of them.

This a huge opportunity for Steeples seeing as he's never coached DBs mainly before. But seeing as he jumped from HS to NFL lets me know he will do fine.

I think Cooks was also brought in to help Steeples on DBs as well. Definitely a great mix of good coaches along with good recruiters. They’ll be cohesive early with so many being used to Kelly’s coaching style from working with him at previous stops.
