Yeah you don’t hire a $10m head coach and stick with the - at best - questionable former inexperienced DC.
It’s not even an option IMO, regardless if the D improved throughout the season.

I think most of us feels it's not a horrible decision if we aren't satisfied with anyone else out there. Familiarity with the players will go a long way and he showed promise towards the end of the season with players that wanted to actually play.
I'd be fine with it but I get if Kelly goes another route.

LSU is actually what Brady needs, and vice versa.
Kelly just had Tommy Rees, a 29-year-old first time play caller at Notre Dame. He is used to a young OC that needs some seasoning. Kelly is heavily involved in the offense.
I'm for it.
