He hasn't been contacted or interviewed so it's useless to get excited about him.

Remember when he was called “3rd and Aranda”?
Good times.

If you can’t be excited about him then maybe you should upgrade your football knowledge

He’s 12-9 as a head coach with Matt Rhule’s guys. Idk how much football knowledge it takes to understand that’s just slightly above average in a bad conference.

If certain coordinators are needed to sell the hire of our head coach we are toast.

Some LSU fans like him because they're familiar with him. He was a solid DC not great. Maybe he's a better HC then he is a DC. The problem is you don't know. Not enough there. Guys like Jenar Boy are the same people who wanted to hire Ed O because he "talks like us". The only thing to be excited about Aranda is that he's an actual HC. I think under Aranda we'll be a well coached team. Recruiting will definitely fall off.

In a normal coaching search for a big program, which is not what LSU is doing right now, Aranda would be a very pleasing hire for almost anyone.

He's got a strong pedigree, is thriving in a decent sized program, etc.

If LSU fans would stop treating this like some mega splash coup and just go get a high quality guy with as much chance as anyone else to get the program rolling again, Aranda seems like a good option.

IT's Aranda or keep Coach O. Which one do you prefer?

Too bad he's not our guy and we're probably not going to be able to get him in a week given that Baylor has legitimately good things going for it and he has a conference to win.

And we know this how? Because all the people who keep spewing shite say so. I think it’s safe to say no one has a fricking clue. It could be that SW shite the bed, it could be that he is still on track for what his plan was, it could be that he is just working on multiple things. No one on here has a freaking clue.
