Issue we all have currently is we don’t know the extent of his work the past 2 years at LSU. How much influence on plays or game plan if any. We know he worked with jd5. Was it him or jd5 work ethic. The thing is Kelly knows the answers to these questions. And we will probably see the answer if he is promoted. If Kelly thinks he is too valuable to lose and had a big role he will be promoted. Kelly won’t keep him for 1 recruit if he doesn’t think he can handle it. Bc we will lose that recruit anyway if the offense becomes abysmal next year.

Todd Monken will be forced to say “no” and be willing to pass up a lot of money.

BK’s relationship with Monken goes back years.

Makes too much sense. Hopefully Monken isn’t happy in Baltimore

No need to make up stuff the only people who wanted him were guys like Moscona who wanted to keep the access train rolling following Coach Os leaky ship wasn’t there to feed them info anymore.

Sloan is going to feel some type of way if it’s not him. That said, he likely would never be a candidate if he were outside the program. Kelly will be in a tough spot

Monken was in the NFL since 2016 then took the UGA job for a few years and went back to the NFL.

Leaving a job at the top program in CFB to return to the NFL sure looks like he didn't care for the grind of being a CFB coach anymore.

Monken is running an NFL offense with Lamar Jackson and is a contender for the Super Bowl…yeah OC for a rebuilding LSU would be on the bottom of his wish list.

Give Hankton a bump and let him continue as passing game coordinator, promote Sloan to OC, and hire a TE coach who is an incredible recruiter. Profit.

Exactly. I live in NLA, so have known about him for years. He is revered by Tech fans. So I tend to think he likely had a lot of input/influence on the offense the last 2 years relative to most QB coaches. But I don't know. I think we'll all know by whether or not Kelly hires him. I think he will. If not, then it's because he doesn't think he's ready. He's been around long enough and has seen enough of Sloan to trust his call on this whichever way it goes.

Probably not. But he IS inside the program and Kelly has seen worked side by side with him every day for 2 years.

Only if he doesn't think he's ready, but wants to retain him. I think he thinks he's ready and will give him a shot. Maybe not. We'll see.

This makes no sense….simply due o the fact Kelly went and found him and hired him.
