Why don't the coaches you named RECRUIT the talent LSU has? Give them the talent...ridiculous.

Well to be fair Shaw, Mora, and O'Brien have less than 5 years HC experience between them at the collegiate level.

They're guaranteed to be better than Miles though. Look at their records through 10-15 games...you can't dispute that.

Hypothetical-Saban wasnt at bama. Now compare miles to other coaches. I know he makes some bonehead decisions and appears aloof, but people that think LSU is God's gift to football need to wake the hell up. Ill take 10 win seasons with a chance every year rather than a good year followed by real mediocre ones. LSU under Miles does play down to its competetion some times but other than 1/9 did that happen last year. I think he goes with his gut and this year that said "injuries to oline, lost players, and first year QB" run the ball and play to win. Half of the people on here never played a down of football and just like to &

in the MWC. Of course they're going to have good winning percentages. And you really think that Stanford........I'll say that again.....STANFORD....doesn't have the money LSU has?

They have a BRAND NEW stadium. Not sure of the rest of the place, but Stanford, if they wanted to do so, could buy LSU twice over.

Wait....don't we say Saban is a great coach?

Do we not acknowledge that the coaches we name as possible replacements (Patterson, Petersen, etc) are named because we think they are excellent coaches?

You statement makes little sense. Are you suggesting that there are NO "great coaches" if they are called "great coaches"?

Imagine if LSU actually got a guy with football knowledge like chris Petersen, Gary Patterson, Jim Mora Jr, David Shaw, or James Franklin. I would like Les to stay, but at this point he's asked for a raise too many times. Sorry, but a peach bowl season doesn't prompt a raise. frick him if he goes. ----Unless this is a Pete CArrol type thing and he's bailing before the sanctions hit. Then, frick.

Well, what makes them so much better than their peers in the MWC? It must be coaching. It's not like the MWC decided to have a meeting and only let Boise and TCU be good.

STanford doesn't SPEND the money on football that LSU spends. Not hard to understand.

No doubt, but Stanford doesn't spend the money on facilities (practice fields, Indoor field, Weight room, etc.) that LSU does. Stanford doesn't spend the money on assistant coaches like LSU does. Stanford doesn't spend the money on recruiting like LSU does.

Plus, stanford doesn't have close access to recruits like LSU does. Yes, I know they're in CA, but Socal is where all the talent is and they're pretty far from Socal.

Just saying that at some point LSU has to say enough is enough with the raises Les wants. Do you believe LSu should pay him 5.5 million, which is more than Nick Saban? That's ludicrous.

If Les wanted a raise, he had a chance on 1/9 and he had a chance on 11/3/12.

Damn, somebody's girl had a fricking load blown on her face from a band member.

yeah, it's impossible to both play in band and be on the football team too. didn't realize that.

TIL, that band members are not capable of football knowledge. Only those who waived a towel from the bench of their 3A HS team who ran the veer option know football.

Are you implying that if LSU had one of these coaches that LSU would have the greatest 3-4 year runs in college football history? They would have to do better than 34-5 over 3 years.

Good thread Moustache. You really know how to make good threads. You seem very knowledgeable.

you're so retarded, it isn't even funny.

Where did I say that Miles is doing something wrong? I'm just saying it's ludicrous for him to demand to be paid more than a man who fricking owns him. (saban)

So, you would pretty much just give Les a blank check?

probably. les has managed to do it with a fricktard offense.

Give LSU David Shaw or Chris petersen's offense along with Chavis, then yes, I think we could've gone 34-5 over the past 3 years.

Who's going to run that offense? Are you going to give these guys Miles' players too? Ok, fair enough. So, given Miles' defensive coordinator, the players Miles recruited, and the reputation of LSU which Miles has done tremendous amounts to build, Shaw or Petersen probably could match Miles' record. This is a reason to get rid of Les Miles. This is what is called A LOGICAL ARGUMENT BY A MARCHING BAND MEMBER.

Seriously, go back to the rant because you are rantarded.

Edited for spelling and to add an Oxford comma for clarity.
