Imagine if LSU actually got a guy with football knowledge like chris Petersen, Gary Patterson, Jim Mora Jr, David Shaw, or James Franklin.

I would like Les to stay, but at this point he's asked for a raise too many times. Sorry, but a peach bowl season doesn't prompt a raise. frick him if he goes.

----Unless this is a Pete CArrol type thing and he's bailing before the sanctions hit. Then, frick.

I don't think any of these guys would do as good of a job as Les.

This. Some of you LSU fans don't seem to realize miles is the best coach the school as ever had historically.

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world

This.

Give Jim Mora, Jr or Bill O'brien the talent Les has had in the past few years. Give that same talent to Chris Petersen or Gary Patterson.

I do want you to keep him so LSU stays at the level they're at. Not to drop off.

Imagine how many players would go pro if Miles left. I think we would be fine in the long run, but could definitely experience a drop off for the time being

Ill be happy if y'all got rid of les. He ain't going tho I don't think. But just for shits and gigs are you saying any coach could of came into LSU after Saban and starting pumping out back to back double digit win seasons and last as long as Miles so far? Saban didn't even do that.

hard to argue from a win %. think Les is top 5 all-time in the conference.

which in my humble opinion is a program that is a gameday coach away from being the most dominant program is college football..

see how LSU struggled with Auburn and Towson...teams of LSU talent crush these teams and get the 3rd teamers time in the 4th quarter...

that is the level you are speaking of...

That.

You people want to get rid of one of the best recruiters in the whole fricking NCAA and the most successful coach we have ever had and think someone else is going to automatically be better?

Based one what? Exactly what drugs are you people on? You should look at other programs that made mistakes of this magnitude. They don't turn out well as a general rule.

He would only improve his ranking by going to a destination job like Arkansas.

Saban understood this and landed at Bama.

I agree with you to an extent on that. But he wouldn't have this team where they are at every year. They've consistently been a top team. While they may not beat bad teams 50-0, they are winning and beating good teams along the way.

This again. Some of these unrealistic fans expect LSU to steam roll over every opponent every year. Doesn't work that way.

yes to bama, no to arky. But nice trolling.

BTW, college gameday is laughing their arse off at the absurdity of someone even considering arky over LSU. That should let you know where arky stands as a program.

i remember when the midget landed in Orlando or wherever, and had the presser before the Iowa game and told folks he gone.

aside from last yrs. NC game, TD hasn't really, really had a good melt down since. 'bout time it had another.

Did you miss the 09 Ole Miss game? Or the 2010 UT game?
