Give LSU David Shaw or Chris petersen's offense along with Chavis, then yes, I think we could've gone 34-5 over the past 3 years.

You can't possibly act like you know how that would have affected recruiting.

Reading comprehension is not a strong point of yours, is it? I said if we got a coach with football knowledge like Petersen, etc. etc.

In other words, a coach with the knowledge of Petersen. Nothing was said about the lack of knowledge of Miles.
I do know that an offense ranked int eh 100s consistently, is an example of an offense doing it wrong.

Doesn't Les Miles have a better win percentage at LSU than football mastermind Nick Saban had while at LSU?

Jesus Bobby Herbert Christ this board has gone full retard.

Where did I say get rid of Les you fricking imbecile. Use reading comprehension. I said, if the fricker wants a raise and demands to walk, call his bluff.

Are you going to give these guys Miles' players too?

So Miles won his only NC with saban's players, right?

John chavis saved Miles' job. Miles' first choice for DC were the co-tards.

i'm still missing where Miles "demanded" to be paid more.......

link please?

There is no link, as this is all rumor. But, 99% of the time a coach who is unlikely to leave is contacted and has his name thrown out there----the reason is for his agent to get him more $. See Les after the CU rumors in 05, the MI rumors in 07 and 11 and see Mark Richt to Aggies last year to get a raise.

Tell me about David Shaw's 2 TE offense. How does his career top Miles? LSU beat Washington 41-3. Stanford lost to Washington.
Describe the veer offense for me. Hill and Hilliard are former 3-A backs.

I don't, and I actually want Les to stay for stability and for the sole reason of the risk involved in a coaching change.

However, I think Saban did a good job building LSu into a program the instate kids want to go to. There's no reason to think these guys couldn't keep them at home. Hell, what reason did you have to believe Les would when he came in? He wasn't exactly well known as a great recruiter at Okie st.

But I do know those guys have done about the same or better than Les with less talent and facilities.

That tends to happen when you have to build a program from a 3-8 team to a national champion. Les should thank Saban every day for his only NC.

Not saying it does. Just saying that Miles doesn't deserve to get paid more than Saban. Do you think this season deserves Miles a raise of almost 2 million dollars?

ooooh, you wanna play this game? Okay, well LSu only beat Towson by 16 points. Kent State beat them by 20. So does that mean Kent is better than LSU?

Hill and Hilliard are. But you probably played and sat the bench watching them and act like you know football better than everyone else. Or, you played at some podunk bumfrickville coonass school. You're like the freshman who tries his first joint, and then acts like he is a god on weed quality.

Plus, stanford doesn't have close access to recruits like LSU does. Yes, I know they're in CA, but Socal is where all the talent is and they're pretty far from Socal.

Go take another look at the recruiting classes Stanford has brought in recently.

Jeez, did a band member frick your old lady? I'm sorry, but it was fun blasting those tig ol bitties with the yogurt ropes.

Really? Why? It is based off the triple option, originated out of Houston (allegedly), it introduced the triple option to football (allegedly), and is usually run with two TEs. Sometimes, can be deployed with Receivers. However, variations of it are run out of the gun and Meyer's offense with Harvin basically was the veer out of the shotgun. Oregon also runs some variations of it, but they do a lot of "wishbone" type plays out of the shotgun. What specifically do you want to know about it?

David Shaw: offense is ranked only about 84 this year, but that was due to QB trouble. He actually had the balls to swtich QBs instead of being stubborn and staying with a garbage QB for 4 years and improved his offense to average 411 yards per game after the switch. Led his team to a BCS bowl last year all with Stanfords lack of facilities and $ spent on football.

Besides, it doesn't matter because Les looks to have got his raise. He should go kiss Jeff Long on the mouth, if he was a girl.

I told you frickers all he wanted was to string LSU along for more $.

nah. LSU was a nobody before Saban got here. We weren't relevant in over 2-3 decades before he got here.

We've never been more relevant. Besides, I guess Bama built saban too huh? I think Saban's success at bama and LSU speaks for itself.

If saban had stayed, I have no doubt we would've won a championship in 06, 07, and 11. No way he loses two games with that team in 07 also.

that said, Les is still a great coach. But, I have my doubts on us ever winning another NC with him here. Too damn conservative and owned by a bama coach. Charles Mcclendon Jr.

21-0

3 NCs in 4 years while LSU has none in that time span.

LSU has its best game of the year, it's best effort of the year from Mett and still loses....at home....at night.

I'd call that fricking dickslapped and owned.
