Most coaches don’t want that distraction if they are trying to stay and win a title. It’s just a courtesy to them and their players.

I'm fine with before December 15th as long as all questions by recruits are answered. The rest of us will learn when we are supposed to learn.

We have ZERO coordinators before ESD. Sure everything is great. Even better... the person I originally responded to said they are hired but we're going to keep it a secret for now so we make sure our recruits are clueless on who there coach will be.
I'm not worried about who the hires will be but if you are suggesting that hiring them and keeping them a secret for another month is a smart move then I don't know what to tell you.

The only thing that this wait is making me more and more hopeful of is we definitely have our guys and we are not freaking out and not hiring random coordinator.

Denbrock won't be announced until the timing makes sense for both parties.
DC, who knows.. I personally would hired Lake like 2 weeks ago.

The point isn’t about keeping it a secret, it’s about securing those coaches by adhering to the agreement that was likely made to keep it under wraps until a certain point.
This is all hypothetical, but id rather hire the best guy late than a worse guy early

I seriously doubt they’ve been hired already and just waiting to announce “later”. But it’s not that big of a deal for this class. Typically you’ve had a down class with a coaching change. We won’t get zero signees you can survive a bad or lesser class

Well if your hypothesis turns out to be true I sure hope BK can utilize the transfer portal effectively because this recruiting class will be fricked. It's hard enough to make up ground for recruiting as a new HC, but also all new coordinators not getting announced until a month or less before NSD would make things a lot worse.
I truly am not panicking about all of this I just don't think your hypothesis is a very sound recruiting strategy.

Yeah same here but apparently that's a completely normal thing to do or so I am being told.

We have a lot of recruiting ground to make up and many transfers to account for at some positions of need. If we fall way behind in this class it will take a couple of years to recover and build depth.
Like I said, if we have hires and are just sitting on them like some on here are suggesting then I sure hope that BK can utilize the transfer portal a shite ton because we are going to be very thin at a ton of key positions.

I’ll put money on that we sign everyone that’s in BR for an official visit this weekend
The only thing coordinators would’ve helped with would maybe be Shazz Preston but he wouldn’t have canceled his Bama official and maybe a safety recruit
Citizen and Matthews aren’t signing until feb so they will no who coordinators are
The first class for a new coach is always small unless it’s an on staff hire

I dont think plenty of coordinators have switched teams in the weeks leading up to the CFP. I think its probably Denbrock and Golding and both of them, as part of the agreement in place have asked BK to wait until they are done coaching to announce so they can focus. If CK thinks these are the right guys for the next 10 years, whats waiting a few more weeks.

Denbrock won't really effect recruiting anyway. Most of the kids that we recruit don't even know who he is..

I'm actually one of the most level headed posters on here.
Sorry I am not thrilled, if it turns out to be true, that we have had our coordinators hired for weeks and just kept it hush hush considering we have had a large amount of decommits, transfers, and seniors at key positions.
I do think we are targeting guys in the playoffs but by no means do I think we hired them and are just sitting on it. If that was the case why aren't we filling out the rest of the staff now to at least provide a better picture of what our offense and defense will be?

Brian Kelly (HC) did. Lane kiffin as well. Sarkisian also. Those are three recent ones off the top of my head.
