“From what I've heard, Kiffin absolutely wants the LSU job and is campaigning for it. Kiffin will probably never win a national championship at Ole Miss - he could certainly win one at LSU with their abundant resources and recruiting base. And LSU, if they indeed want him, will pay big.”

If he’s campaigning for the job, why would we have to “pay big”? You usually don’t have to throw money at a guy begging for the job.

I don’t ever throw around “sources” or any shite like that because I don’t think many people know besides Woodward. But someone I know who has family both on the coaching staff and media, has said he thinks it’s Kiffin.

It would be dumb to hire him to high guaranteed dollar amount. He is a better coach than Ed but just as shady. May be worse than Ed with the shady and corrupt crap as he is smarter than Ed and hides it better, but it will eventually hurt LSU just as Ed did. We will probably have to pay Kiffin off as well to keep his mouth shut.

Best to look elsewhere. We are still cleaning up messes in athletic department.

Any coach on the current staff is probably not a great source this go around. You gotta believe there is no way Woody would let this hire leak to those guys.

After the last two coaches and the ongoing Title IX investigation, LSU would be asinine to hire Kiffin. They need a professional who will not put another black eye on the program for at least a few years.

I like Kiffin, he would do well, but yeah there’s 0% chance it’s happening.

Kind of tired of seeing his name because it’s not even in the realm of possible given the circumstances at LSU.

It is what it is. Circumstances are what they are. Kiffin won’t be LSUs next HC. For whatever reason some people don’t want to see and understand it, and instead choose to lock in on Kiffin and set themself up for disappointment when it is inevitably and predictably not Kiffin.

I have no doubt Kiffin wants the job. He just has no chance of getting it, when LSU is in full-on system-wide image/compliance repair mode.

Not my first choice but Kiffin with a Pruitt defense would be intriguing at LSU.

Lmao this is a classic tactic by Jimmy Sexton to get Kiffin a big raise at OM. It’s not hard to see.

If Kiffin were to stay here 5 years minimum we win a title (he's also right about never winning one at Ole Miss)

LSU isn't a hard place to win at even a total moron Like Les Miles and Ed Orgeron won here

Not my first choice, but Kiffin at LSU would send Saban into retirement.
