“Would be the most disappointing hire in the entire history of LSU athletics”. Hanny wanted NOTHIN to do with a Stoops hire. Just hammered even the possibility of it. He’s right of course but to blast it on the LSU postgame was hilarious IMO.

Stoops or O'Brian would absolutely such the life out of the fanbase. Woodward has to be aware of that. It would be o e hell of a gamble that they would be successfully fast enough to not lose significant fan support.

It shouldn’t be a disappointing hire. I can see it not being the popular or sexy hire but Stoops would be very successful here.
Stoops would have a ton more success here than Jimbo at A&M and at a fraction of the costs.
