Pretty dumb on his part if true. We have the money to make assistance support staff look better than they are where bama is getting lapped by the Texas tech’s of the world because of struggling to raise money with the big boys.

Biggest myth in the world. Bama and Ohio St just aren’t throwing money at every swinging dick in the portal. LSU spent a ton on guys who couldn’t play last year. What are y’all gonna say after you spend 70 mill this year and win 9 games. For that kind of money there should be no development. Plug in, win championship.

Maybe 9 games, maybe make it to the playoffs but something had to change from Brian Kelly’s tenure. I guess Kiffin was just supposed to come in and maintain the status quo instead of trying to better his roster to fit his scheme with the resources available. Maybe we should take bamas strategy and still lose 4 games a year.

Please list the fervent Bama alum/ football program die hards that are on Forbes billionaires list. With the NIL now throwing around multi million $$ deals PER YEAR / per player, billionaires are the ones financially sound enough to support this. Gone are the days of Bama REC being able to collectively put together $100-200K packages to funnel through the target’s church foundation, and thus paid to the family. REC is dying on the vine these days

Correct. He was pretty pissed over it from what I heard. Sherman was the guy the players went to bitch and complain. He was very close se to a lot of guys. JD5 and Sherman are very close.
