Let’s hope it’s Kiffin. Drinkwitz is half the coach.

At least Drinkwitz has had more sustained success for longer. Dillingham has one great season under his belt.

And Drinkwitz has beat virtually no one with a pulse. He will likely want almost twice the salary and twice the buyout, lol. Go back to the drawing board and find a different coach if Drinkwitz is your choice.

I'd rather Kliff Kingsbury over Drink.

To be fair, Mizzou didn't have a pulse either when he got there. He's unquestionably lifted that program up when they were down in the slums like Arkansas, Auburn, and present day Kentucky.

He makes like 9 mil a year so that's unlikely.

Ok? And if he doesn’t take the job?

Both Verge and Bordelon members of the committee played football for LSU.They know football and know what a good HC looks like. They are also smart enough to seek outside advice on different candidates and will make a great choice no matter who it is.Unfortunatly for a lot of LSU fans the choice will leave many fans pissed off and will continue the negativity toward Verge and the administration.

Not a huge Drink fan but his season derailed with his Starting QB being lost for the year and having to use a true freshman.

That's on him. No excuse to not have a viable back up with the transfer portal

Dillingham aint leaving ASU. he is alumni there. This was a very weird year in terms of alot of the up and coming coaching candidates are at their alma maters. Brohm at ULouisville, Dillingham at ASU, Key at Ga Tech. We need to make Kiffin say no. Then Look at Coordinators and G5 guys with cred.

Hartline, Stein for Coordinator options
Golesh, Lashley, Silverfield, Morris, Sumrall for HC G5 guys

tried telling yall. he is on the list and a darkhorse candidate. i would not be shocked if we end up with him. i sure hope not. ugh.

if we cannot get saban or meyer then give me kiffin. get one of those top 3.

we sure ain't getting day or smart.

You would honestly prefer Sumrall over Drink?

That seems to be what the theme of the day is based on the message board rumors. Kiffin to Florida is done.

Not advocating for the guy, but you realize his other experienced QB got knocked out for the year in their 1st game of the season?

He is down to QB3 by force, a true freshman.

No you’re not. Quit freaking out. LSU has hired much worse coaches and have been successful and not so successful.

It will be what it is.

If Shea “confirmed” it then you know it’s is bullshite

He’s a nice guy but has zero sources and is consistently wrong on these type of things

The ole miss folks are worried News will break before this weekend and put the team in disarray. Hopefully just fear mongering cause the playoffs are a reality now.

I don't think that Philly guy actually knows anything but to be fair, neither does Shea.

I like Drink but I couldn't agree more with this. Just watch.
