Dan Mullen will be at state as long as he wants. Some of you guys forget how hard a job that is. He has done a fantastic job.

Agree 100% Exactly what coach at Miss. St. has done a better job?? Very tough school to win at!

Yeah because Champ followed Urban

Mac followed Champ who won what 11-12 games his last two years combined?

Then Mac came and in his first yr won the East with the same Defense and Offense that got Champ fired.

Freeze is a year removed from a Sugar Bowl victory. If he's fired, it's not because of the on field product but because of NCAA sanctions.

People forget where Ole Miss was and how quickly Hugh turned them around.

All of these guys are correct.

Gus Malzahn
Dan Mullen

Auburn was arguably the second best team in the SEC this year. Despite MSU falling off this year, Mullen is arguably the second best coach in the conference.

Derek Mason

None of these guys will be on the hot seat.

He's not on the long shot list. He is on the list, period. He may get it turned around. Not saying he will be fired. But, if his offense doesn't show marked improvement next year he will be fired.

He beat UGA and LSU this year. Two teams that he should have lost to.

If the bowl game tomorrow is one of those 6-3 shoot outs, the fans won't be at all hesitant to let him know just how hot his seat is.

Guilty...and they're mad because I didn't add in Coach O who broke offensive records in his first game.

Hanigriff and Ott agree with you but damn!! How low of expectations does Miss State have?!! They lost to BYU, Kentucky and South Alabama this year. WTF?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After losing the best player in school history and wining 10 and 9 games the previous year you get a pass on a down year. It also helped we ended the season blowing out ole miss and winning a bowl game.

And only finished 75-75 at state.

Dan is currently 62-41 in 8 years at state and has taken MSU to 7 straight bowls and being ranked #1 in the nation for 5 weeks.

On his current pace, Mullen will win 100 games in 5 more seasons. He's taken Mississippi St to 7 bowls in 8 seasons. That is 35% of all the bowls to which they've ever been.
