Maybe a case of misspelled names? There's a Shawn Payton from Flint that's a sanitation worker on Facebook. He's probably got a better chance of being the Michigan football coach than Sean Payton.

Well Les Miles does have a degree from UM in Economics. Can't argue with that.

Didn't you say the Michigan mods were the best in the business at this type of thing?

It is a joke. Even if Payton was unhappy in New Orleans, he could get another NFL job

One of the highest paid coaches in the league will leave for UM because he wore a UM hat at a UM event...Sounds legit. Rivals mods are the worst trolls to drum up hits during coach searches

Because there's no merit to it other than: "one of our friends, a coach at an Ann Arbor area school, was working concessions to raise money for his program when Payton - in his Michigan hat - and two of his children came up and ordered a hot dog."

Posted by some dude on the internet. I mean come on, anyone with 1/10 of a brain knows it's BS.

Isn't this only if he were fired by Arkansas? I doubt he would have that high of a buyout for him taking another job.

Was simply responding to another posting claiming Michigan couldn't outspend Arkansas which is completely ridiculous. Now if his buyout is really $12 million for him taking another job, that is different.
