yea, he went to a Michigan game and wore a hat with a M on it...that means he's interested in the Michigan job.
I see why good coaches struggle there...their fan base is in absolute la la land.
or at least the opinion leaders are in loopyville, and they often affect the fans.

I think this all comes down to what he had on his hot dog. If it was relish I would say things are looking like this could happen, if he had onions on it I'd say he stays.

Les Miles "a longshot to be on the list"

Michigan coaching search is going to go a lot like this:

I guess I'm the only one that wishes Payton would take the job. He blows.

Les would win big at UM and he is probalby the best fit for them. On that note I hope he is hear for another 5 years before retiring.

It is a joke. Even if Payton was unhappy in New Orleans, he could get another NFL job

That isn't how the NFL works. He's under contract through 2017, so another NFL team would have to trade for him

Yes, he's widely considered to be a top 5 coach in the NFL. He has the 5th best winning % in the NFL (22nd all-time), a Super Bowl, turned around the franchise, etc.

That little piece of bling on his ring finger from 2009? It has "Martini is an idiot" inscribed upon it.

You are kidding right? The school is regarded as one of the best public schools in the country with over an 8.3 BILLION dollar endowment (top ten in the country public and private). I know that doesn't always translate to football coaches salary but to act like they don't have the funds to outbid Arkansas is stupid.

Arkansas' endowment is 920 million.

Hogs have Walmart, Tyson Chicken, and Jerry Jones and they won't be reserved in their bidding war like the Michigan people. Michigan cares about school and shite, Arkansas cares about sports.

As noted, he's paid $8 million dollars with the Saints, that's a YEAR. No college can/would match that. With several more yrs on his contract. But more importantly, if he were to ever leave the Saints, Jerry World is his next destination, as he & Jerry are extremely close & his wife...or mabe ex wife by now...and kids live in Big D.
