Maybe we can just choose which Season Tickets we Really What ... Because I see Trouble on the Way... And If I had to Pick , the Saints tickets can go as for as Im concern. Hijacking a Coach from bettering himself , Nice move. Really Makes other Quility Coaches want to come to New Orleans.

I Really wonder if they would have the GUTS to Do this to Saban .... I really think Not.

I have season tickets to both. The Saints are going to back off as soon as Nielsen agrees not to jump back in to the NFL in the near future like Brady did. It will be fine. If the Saints screw this up I will be pissed.

If that's true then I guess that would be a good thing for us too. Could give us the opportunity to hold on to him for longer. Will be interesting to see how this plays out and to figure out what the actual hold up is/was.

Well, business IS business.

If it's just business, then no hard feelings.

And remember one thing, no matter how long on rough this might get: Nothing worth doing is ever easy.

BUT - to your point - perception is reality. If in doing their business the Saints let, or create, the perception that this is personal and not just business it probably won't work out well for them.

The longer this is drawn out chance that the perception of it being personal, and not just business, goes up and up.

Can you explain your random capitalization?

They aren't stopping him, just dealing with contractual stuff.

Just seen this ..

Sources told Adam Schefter that the Detroit Lions plan to hire Saints tight ends coach/assistant head coach Dan Campbell as their head coach, and the Atlanta Falcons plan to hire Saints vice president/assistant general manager Terry Fontenot as their GM.

Wonder if they Try to Strong-arm Those Situations ??

I mean I could care less about the Saints. I’ve always cared so much more for LSU and the Saints can shove it, along with the whole NFL

Well they’re getting two 3rd round comp picks for Terry so that is more than welcome.

Why would the Saints or any NFL team give two shits about Saban?

The Saints just don't want another Brady situation to happen. You know, take a job at LSU for one year and then end up at a conference foe a year later. Hell, I don't blame them.

Some of you think way too into this. Why would the Saints give a shite about LSU except for the fact that most Saints fans also like LSU. Ryan is a really good football coach, and the Saints DL is one of the best in football thanks to him. Of course they don’t want him to leave. He’s a great football coach and the Saints want the best they can get.

They Don't , that's a easy call... and they draft sooooo many Tigers ... and paid for it Sunday #45 ....

I got a idea , let's trade up , give up a bunch of valuable picks , for a Hope .... Thats Sean Payton on Draft Day , Yea he hit on some of his picks But mostly when he didn't reach or panic an just stayed put. The only time I can remember when trading up for a pick worked out was Alvin Kamara.

There is a difference in not wanting him to leave and actively getting in the way of him bettering himself. That’s not good for the relationship long term and if your goal is to keep him in the organization for the future this could push him out the door as soon as his contract is up anyway.

If you deny good employees a chance for promotion this type of way, you won’t have good employees any longer.

The Saints and the NFL can go F' themselves!

Where is this coming from? Not disagreeing, but I’ve only seen this from TD posters.

That’s a pretty big “except.” The Saints are reliant on Louisiana taxpayers for many things, including tax benefits, season tickets, TV viewers and Superdome improvements.

Its not real smart to piss off a large portion of your fan and tax base.

Or you could be a fan of both and let this play out. But that seems too rationale for some of you

Well, that's a pretty fricking big reason to care. The fan base is a huge part of the value of a franchise.
