The Seattle Seahawks are expected to hire Alabama’s Ryan Grubb as their offensive coordinator, sources tell @247Sports. A return to Washington for Grubb, who was the leader of the University of Washington’s high-powered offenses the last two years.

I really wanted to see Grubbs at bama I wanted to see them full strength with this new coaching staff so the games would be more competitive, hopefully they get someone good to replace him

Oh thought you did, I’m not gonna go back anyways and read that other thread. I guess it’s Kirby Moore from here.

What are you talking about? I am puzzled that you said Kirby Moore.

Edit to also say Sheridan who coached with him at Indiana

He doesn't want to be under his shadow anymore. He is on a mission doing his own thing and it is working. Why change it? Why didn't he go to Washington when DeBoer became the HC there? Again, he wanted to be on his own.

Sounds like he’s taking Scott Huff (offensive line coach) with him, too.

ETA: per Adam Rittenberg
quote:

What I'm hearing on Alabama's staff, per sources, following Ryan Grubb's departure. - OL coach Scott Huff expected to join Seahawks - Nick Sheridan (TEs) and JaMarcus Shephard (WRs) both likely to stay as co-OCs, which is significant. Sheridan could be playcaller, move to QBs.

The delusion among bama fans is incredible

They go from “best OC in America” to “it’s not a big deal…as long we keep the WR coach who won’t be calling plays “

LMAO

This sure looks to me like a bunch of Yankees, PNWers, and a couple Cali guys landed in Tuscaloosa and looked around and said “frick this noise.”

Or they’re getting a promotion. Don’t know which one sounds more reasonable. I am shocked a first time defensive minded NFL head coach is giving control to a dude who has never been in the nfl. I guess taking a shot is better than the retreads though
