It's going to be the going rate for any top 5 coach, especially when the new TV money hits.
Yep. And don't forget that the CBS contract ends and new ESPN TV contract starts for the SEC.

The timing with the TV contract and UT/OU move is not coincidental. That's some big arse TV markets cementing the KC to OKC market and being the biggest game in town across TX with TAMU and now UT.

Flyover country has SAMs with $ signs on them.

Who gives a rats arse about the money? It isn’t coming out of your pocket or mine, so let’s spend big and get a great coach, or do you not remember the last time we settled for a guy because he was cheaper?

Wrong.

Yep, definitely wrong. I don't want to argue on here. Not my intent, but I can say with 100% certainty that Lincoln isn't going to be the next LSU coach.

I just wanted this in my post history for potential further replay review.

When a poster says this in reference to boosters, it’s a blinking neon sign above their head that says “Idiot”

Correct. Somebody knows something. At least some have very good sources. Can confirm.

Do people really think it's a good idea to pay $12 million a year to a coach before he's even won a national championship... or a playoff game?
I really think it’s a good idea to get the guy you want.

I really think it’s a good idea to get the guy you want.

That is all.

I have already told you all this is a done deal. My sources are confident - Riley HC, Tomlin DC, Andy Reid OC.
Mike Tomlin and Andy Reid?

Curious, exactly how much do you donate to TAF a year?

Thought so. Stfu.

Oh there’s definitely smoke. Whether it happens or not remains to be seen, but there’s definitely smoke.

Don’t worry, you’ll be fine with Bob returning.

I think the question is whether the smoke is intentional on LSU’s part.

I don't think riley was ever close to coming to lsu but how can you be 100% certain unless you are him.

What if he changes his mind?

False. Saban has proven he can win National Championships. Riley has not.

Mostly because he isn’t good enough.

Yes. Woodward landed the Baylor women’s basketball coach. Everyone knows he swings for the fences and lands his man.
