I assume he won't leave the 49ers unless they fire him.

He ain't going anywhere. It's only year 1 in SF. He went in knowing the organization is in rebuilding mode.

frick that guy. Can't stand him. He'd probably do very well for us but damn he's hard to root for. Would also rather a more aggressive pro style offense with spread elwments as opposed to Kelly's.

So what?

I kinda want an a-hole coach that everyone hates.

We are now seen as villains after the Florida fiasco. Let's embrace it. Hire chip. Create the evil empire.

What goes around comes around. Spurrier ruled the SEC from Florida for a while. Saban has had an even better run.

If people don't like your coach while he wins a lot that's really a them not liking you winning thing.

For God's sake no. Please stop the madness. Chip Kelly sucks at best now.

Chip Kelly screams Rich Rod to Michigan to me. Just don't think he will do well here.

Said the same thing in the other Kelly to LSU thread. Would be epic fail and it would take forever to get back after he finessed up our roster

I was coming to post that.

Hiring Chip Kelly would take an overhaul over our offense. If it doesn't work out we end up in the exact same boat as Michigan.

The Rantards don't want him, for whatever reason, but oh god his offense would be unreal with the skill talent he could find here.

this would be such a good hire

The hire only works if he retains Aranda and adopts some power run components.

I'm still not convinced that his style of offense would be guaranteed to be effective in the SEC.

Hurry-up/up-tempo offenses are a thing of beauty while they work, but if your offense is unable to generate points or first downs, then all you are left with is a tired defense.

Almost the entire sec runs an up tempo spread right now. If you don't think it works you're not paying attention.
