Jim Delaney is gonna cry if he has OSU, Mich, and PSU all looking to replace HCs this offseason.
And, if LSU and Bama come open too, the Coaching Board will rival SECRant/Camgate for at least a few weeks.

Report: Jim Tressel leaving Ohio State
hes not leaving anytime soon. this was a dirty recruiting tactic by a buckeye hater

I wouldn't imagine Tressell leaving OSU, for any other job, pro nor college, and he certainly doesn't look tired nor burntout. But, I could see him retiring in entirety, for family, etc..
He is a very even keel HC..doesn't let the game eat at him like Urban Meyer or Saban, etc..
Tressell, like Les Miles, seems to keep a very good life balance, and personality/demeanor, that prevents such wear and tear?

the article said they had two sources.
After 10 years at a program, it's very believable that a HC may "move on"
Spurrier did it
Urban is moving on
Stoops will be next
Brown gone soon
PC left
there won't be anymore Joe Paws and Bowdens in the future IMHO...
Everyone is good now..

The current elite HC salaries make it to where retiring in entirety, is an option once rarely afforded HCs until very late in their geriatric years, for the lucky survivors that had carte-blanche at said Universities.
I could see a guy like Tressell stepping away for family and grandkids, quality of life pursuits.

The sources indicated that Buckeye recruits have been informed that Tressel will not be back as coach, and have been allowed to look for other options.
Buckeye recruits "allowed" to look for other options? Hard to take this seriously when the writer shows little knowledge of the recruiting process.

Maybe not, Buckeye's may have a once you verbally commit you can't go on visits policy

A couple of things. One, Tressel has already stated he is done in 2013; he will not coach again after Ohio State. I believe he will be retained with the university in some capacity...like associate AD or something. It was on NBC 4 in Columbus the other day (Sunday) that this is just a rumor flying around and at this point, there is no evidence this will happen.
Second, if he were to retire, the top leaders for the job are in no-particular order...Urban Meyer and Bob Stoops. Both have the Ohio ties.

I would think Bo Pelini would be in there too. I think his fiery temperament would harken back to the Woody Hayes days. Moreover, isn't Ohio State his alma mater?

One just left a consensus top 2 job in the country, and the other just turned down that same top 2 job.

Ohio State is a top 5 job and neither have the connection to that school like they do to tOSU.
Urban Meyer = From Ohio
Bob Stoops = From Ohio
I would imagine growing up in Ohio, tOSU would be their dream job?
