Because Cooks doesn't deserve an on field coaching job? He sucked at OU his last onfield job.

He’s a really good DB coach hire. But it doesn’t necessitate the melt on here by any means. People want change and want to burn it to the ground until they actually see what that looks like. This place is full of weaklings.

If players are a reflection of their coach, then it isn’t the end of the world for LSU. He had the best 2 corners in the SEC and neither have done shite here the past 2 years. They both quit. His recruiting has definitely taken a hit the last 3-4 years as well.
Raymond didn’t get the whole “DBU” thing going here either. He inherited that and sustained it, but he isn’t the father of DBU. He chooses to go to a rival school? Every year supposedly Texas, Georgia..etc come calling. Why not go to one of those? Oh it’s personal huh… Can’t wait to drop 500 passing yards on the mfr

Outstanding hire for Napier. Easily the best hire on that whole staff right now including the head coach.
LSU will be fine, but it does sting. Florida took a good one from us for sure.
